Bush the other night: “The Market isn’t functioning properly.”

Liar. The market’s functioning just the way its supposed to.

You just don’t like the results.

There are consequences to our actions. Warnings were given, for years. You didn’t listen, and now things are blowing up in your face. Time to face the music.

Unfortunately, its the people who are now paying the price.

Obama wants to blame the mortgage mess of “failed Bush policies” - yet he offers no specifics at all - what specific policies are responsible?

Let’s see, intensive deregulation, forcing the regulators who are still around to look the other way, pushing complicated plans with lots of loopholes and that have been untested…maybe you haven’t been listening. Or maybe you just can’t bring yourself to be honest.

Please check it out: In 1984 and the Administration was pushing hard to increase the activities that banks can be involved in. Yes, they started the deregulation of banks. Then in 1999 a bill implemented the total reversal of the Glass-Seagall Act which came from 1934 after the first collapse of banking due to greed and unsuitable investments by banks. Most everyday folks were in the stock market back then.
Now we have more unsuitable and risky investment vehicles with the big banks. Most folks today are invested in the stock market. History is repeating irself.
Small town banks don’t do those bad loans. They are sound.
Guess what! Now we have the same kind of panic started due to bad investments. Today Hundreds of bad loans can be initiated over the internet. THEY ARE STILL BEING ISSUED!!!! THOSE CEO’S SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF TOWN ON A RAIL, TARRED AND FEATHERED to go.
The democrats are the ones that promoted and PUSHED lending to NIJA’s (no income, no jobs).
The republicans went along with it.
They must BOTH take blame for this mess.

They should all be voted out of office NOW!

    Amen.
