Seems all the rats are fleeing the sinking ship. Gonzalez, Snow, Rove. Not much hope in sight for an effective government for at least two years; not that there was much hope before, but with the time it takes to transition, set up, make changes, it will be time for the new president to take office and start assembling their cabinet, who will have to transition, set up office, make policy and budgetary changes…..
There’s only two of the ‘old guard’ left–Cheney and Rice.

While Gonzales leaving is a good thing, when are Democrats going to say enough is enough and start trying to hold him and other members of this administration responsible? For that matter, when are they going to stop talking tough and start acting tough, instead of doing things like giving Gonzales the power to legally tap our phones while at the same time declaring they have no confidence in him? The Bush administration may be a sinking ship, but, from where I stand, so is the Democrat-controlled Congress. The difference with Congress is the rats aren’t leaving the ship–they’re trying to steer it.
