Or not. We drove to the Norfolk Coast, home of the rough yet beautiful North Sea, to the lovely seaside town of Hunstanton. Sunshine all the way, until we unpack the tent and head for the shore. Not five minutes after we step onto the pier, wham, rain. Rain, rain and more rain. We ended up leaving this morning, as they were predicting torrential rains.
We did spend the night at a lovely campground, the locally beloved Deepdale Farms. Just outside Hunstanton, its both hostel and campsite. The owners are lovely, the facilities were clean and well organized, and it was all very eco-friendly. I was quite impressed. If you are ever touring the area, I can highly recommend them. They thought of every need, and were prepared in advance. Very rare. They recommended an excellent pub, and we had a great time, despite the rain.
As for the UK news, the scandal du jour lands the BBC on the hotseat. Seems that the BBC radio dj’s have been a bit cheeky of late–both with their language (Radio 2 is fined for their dirty mouth) and with their antics. Just this week it was revealed that Radio 1 and 2 have been hosting competitions with fake callers and fake prizes. Heads are rolling and the nation is aghast–but all will be well again in a week or two.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Glad to hear that you and all the “Know-it-alls” are having fun in jolly old England! Hope you got to catch the YouTube Democratic Debate. I got to see parts of it. What did you think?
It doesn’t sound like the rain dampened your spirits too much…a visit to the local pub will usually wash away the blues. Enjoy your visit!
