I LOVE IT!

In case you missed it, earlier this week Diane Sawyer interviewed Al Gore about his new book.  Well, Mr. Vice President got a little testy with Ms Sawyer.   He rightly pointed out how the media twists everything into a new discussion that it was not originally intended to be.  For example, he was there to talk about his book, and everything Good Morning America did had the interview centered around the Race to the White House 2008–graphics, commentary, everything.  He called them out on it.  Its wonderful!  Video below.

    Al Gore better be able to tell when someone is twisting facts, because He sure knows how to twist facts, doesn’t he? :)

    Oh come on, there are very few people out there who don’t twist facts. Honestly, there are very few hard and true facts. Most of the things we call “facts” are a little bit of inarguable truth mixed with our own skewed interpretation and presented as “facts.” Its a game everyone plays, but the media does it the best. And as the saying goes “But I saw it on the news…” Put a good looking news anchor on tv with the story and suddenly its reality, no arguing the point.
