I’m sorry for the lack of posts, but I’m having connection issues this week. Hopefully Insight will have it resolved soon!

As for blogs, there’s a lot to blog but not much time. If you live in KY, today is an important day! Go VOTE!!! I haven’t formally endorsed anyone, especially since my favorite, Jonathan Miller, dropped out of the race. But I will endorse Steve–either one running! Steve Beshear was the catalyst behind my career in politics. When he ran for Senate, I called his office to offer to make phone calls or stuff envelopes, and within short order I was a regional volunteer coordinator. A big title that meant I ran errands and told others what to do. He has good ideas and is a good man, and would be a good governor. Steve Henry is a man I know, or knew, back when he was Lt Governor under Patton. He had style and true political abilities which were smothered within the Patton administration. Honestly, I believe a number of his political problems have come from old Patton allies who have never forgotten how Steve didn’t stand in lockstep with Patton. Patton and his cronies were known to play dirty in the back alleys, and I doubt they’ve stopped. Beyond that, Henry has the ability to remember people, as real people and not just something to be used for personal gain. His focus is people, and what he can do for people. In politics, many start that way, but few stay that way. I believe Henry would work to make a change in KY for the people.
