Tenet was not one of their kind, he was not a part of the “in-crowd” of the Bush administration, but as director of the CIA, he definitely was in the know, or should have been. If he wasn’t, shame on Bush and his people.
His book appears to be the definitive smoking gun. Lined up with ex-terrorism czar Clark’s accounts of events, there should be no doubt remaining that they had Iraq in their sights before they were even sworn in. Not that there was much doubt anyway.

We were all joking when Bush was elected that he would “find a way to get that bad man for Daddy”! Problem is, now we are in such a mess I don’t know how we will get out. What a shame we can’t seem to elect people who can respond to a problem in some way other than with guns!
