   I guess it says something about our society that we have a better grasp of sports than politics. And for some of us politics might be more at the back of our minds at the moment. I’m not saying this is a good thing, but every time I hear something about the 2008 Presidential elections I think, “For crying out loud, we’re barely into 2007.” It’s not necessarily a smart attitude, especially since now is the time to have input about what we expect of our Presidential candidate (and hopefully next President) but…sorry, I’m too tired to finish the thought.

   Show me one attractive politician and I will show you someone who will get votes and air time outside of Sunday morning.

   I guess Barack Obama would qualify then. I don’t think he’s attractive, but then I’m not really a good judge of that.
